Our Policy on Safety & Health

• We want to provide a safe working environment for all of our employees.
• We are committed to providing the resources to accomplish this.
• We want all of our employees to participate in the processes that contribute to this policy.
• We desire to create an atmosphere of hazard awareness and accident prevention. We do not want any of our employees to risk their personal safety or the safety of others.
• We will strive to comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• We have implemented a program that addresses these goals and will take the necessary steps to improve, modify, and enforce the requirements of the program.

To achieve the goal of an accident-free workplace our Safety and Healthcare Program will include:

• Competent Persons at each work site, typically a crew leader, who by virtue of his/her experience or training has the ability to identify hazards and take corrective steps to eliminate them.
• A Program of work site safety and health assessments to identify and eliminate unsafe working conditions or practices, to control health hazards, and to comply fully with the safety and health standards for every job.
• A Safety Committee that meets regularly to review the effectiveness of the program.
• A Training Program that is tailored to address the types of dangers that are encountered in our work and that trains our employees in the methods to identify hazards, eliminate hazards, and how to properly protect themselves by using safe practices and personal protective equipment.
• Developing and enforcing safety and health rules and requiring that employees cooperate with these rules as a condition of employment.
• Investigating, promptly and thoroughly, every accident and near-miss to find out what caused it and to correct the problem so that it won’t happen again.
• Developing site-specific programs when working in environments that present peculiar hazards.
